When surfing around the internet, I stumbled across an interesting community network called 5oup.net. The website was created by James Chambers and Tom Judd in February 2006. 5oup.net is a great place for students to show off their work and have their art seen by a wide audience.

Since it's launch 5oup has had a great reception both online and off, recieving support from Icograda, Design is Kinky, Pixelsurgeon and Computer Arts to name but a few. Our userbase has grown to over 1300 students from a huge variety of backgrounds and creative disciplines, and represents a cross section of emerging creative talent. 5oup is the only dedicated community run by students, for students.

I found to be a network site that is beautifully designed (compared to DeviantArt.com) and displays student art work perfectly. What I liked most about it is that you can find students by schools which I find very useful because you can see what is being produced by students from which ever school. Anyway, I'm waiting for the day in which I can become a member of this delicious 5oup :)
